Usually, relatives, brown nosers and bootlickers are protected while all others are sacrificed in the best interests of the shareholders. As for C Parker, if he wants to play silly trivia and music games, he should be on KZEP. He's too old for KISS. But since I don't listen to local radio anymore, because its not worth listening to, it really doesn't matter to me. It also seems that it doesn't matter to everyone else. Who listens to AM radio, or even FM radio? Look around you. Almost everyone has some kind of electronic music device or satrad receiver. And how are stations rated? Through a survey, like the Neilson TV survey? I have lived here for 43 years and have NEVER been polled or surveyed for radio, either by telephone, mail or in person. If its anything like my wife's bi-annual Neilson TV log, I can understand why we have what we have, on TV and radio!
