Why are JB&B STILLLLLL on the air????

They're live what.....3 days a week these days??? They do well in Charlotte and the small markets, but get hammered in GSO and RDU...2 more top 50 markets. The Rooster in RDU is new and a whole other Smoketree animal...but the Buzzard would benefit GREATLY from a live & local show to compete against KRR. How can CC REALLY just concede the most important daypart in these large markets?????

The sad thing is, they're still more entertaining to listen to than Bob & Tom. That's not saying much, though.

I can't argue with that point. In Charlotte, we have the choice of Bob & Tom on one CC outlet (106.5), and JB&B on WRFX. 106.5 has been ruined by CC just like RDU though they haven't flipped (but it's coming soon).

Must be a real big contract that CC can't get out of and make it make sense.
From what I've heard, their contract was up last year, and CC Greensboro had the chance to get out of the show. Many in the building were pushing for them not renewing the contract. Regional management apparently had some say though. And thus, sadly, they're still around....

I was meaning the CC contract with the JB&B production company, not the stations' contract.
Doesn't CC have some kind of interest in the whole JB&B production/syndication, not just airing the shows?

JB&B's flagship is WRFX, owned by Clear Channel. Bob & Tom is also owned by Clear Channel. I believe both shows are syndicated by Premier, which is owned by Clear Channel.

Mr. Brilliant Bohannon was probably involved - hic! - That guy is dumb as a stick of wood! I can see him smoking those big fat phallic looking cigars in my mind. If CC only realized just how ignorant Bohannon is, they might have a chance at winning in GSO and Raleigh again someday. They'll never win with that loser at the helm.

Why are JB&B still on the air??? INCOMPETENCE! UTTER IMCOMPETENCE!

The programming geniuses @ CC have a motto - "the path of least resistance".

Step 1 - adhere lips to Bohannon's posterior.
Step 2 - do the easy thing, pay a ton of money for a pre packaged show no matter how tired and redundant it might be.
Step 3 - put a postivie spin on the numbers no matter how dreary.
