Why are Weekends so special?

Lately on the classic TV board, I've noticed a preponderance of Weekend schedules. Why can't we mix it up a little more? I am still wanting to see a schedule from the Detroit area from a week day in 1960 that would show how Boofland was integrated in to CKLW Channel 9's broadcast day. I remember coming home from school and rushing to the TV set to tune in. Also, before Boofland, was a program that had the NTA Film Network logo. I use to like it, because it played a "Big Fanfare, and the announcer then said, with much solemnity< "This, is the NTA Film Network. How about it?
