Why cant I get QKC 93.7 Seymour here anymore

Ive noticed for about a year that their signal was much weaker here, used to be a semi local. The last few days I turned the dial to 93.7 expecting to here some good ole small town country music, and instead i get a very weak signal from some Bible Thumper with on air preaching... This doesnt make me very happy, I liked QKC alot better for country than the other local stations cause they played alot of classics and had a friendly down home attitude. I have listened to 93.7 ever since the days of the CHR Z-93.7 THE HEAT, but also enjoyed the country programing since I like all kinds of music from CHR to Country, Dance, Rock, AC, Oldies, 80s, Christian Rock,,, You name it, but I have always hated Radio Preaching. I noticed the tower for QKC in Freetown Indiana is still standing, so could a new station possibly sign on to 93.7 soon, maybe some form of CHR or AC, or even a good oldies format, or variety Adult Hits, maybe even a new country station. Its just ashame that their 25 kW flame thrower is setting empty now. The only good thing about it is it expanded Warm 93.9s coverage to the south dramatically. IM guessing QKC must have finally made the move to Louisville on 93.9 with the sports format,,, What a waste... Can anyone enlighten me, I want me quality Down Home Country station back, I liked them alot better than WFMS or my local WCBK, or WKKG Columbus. What do you guys think would be best for the new 93.7 signal? I think a Variety Hits or Oldies would do well, maybe even CHR, but it is awful rural for CHR. I dont think Classic Rock would work since they already have 96.3 Seymour-Austin for Classic Rock, and I dont really care for most Classic Rockers. Hot AC could do well too, since they are kinda too far south to get a good signal on WRZQ Q-Mix 107.3 Columbus. I really hope they put something on 93.7 soon, An d not just a Sat format either, that Rural area is in need for a good local station, instead of having to DX Louisville, and Indianapolis stations. Maybe next time around they can serve their local comunity better with local weather and news, School closings ect, for the rural comunities of Jackson, Brown, and Lawrence Counties. I just hate to see such a powerful stick just be wasted when it can be used to serve their community.

93.7 has been downgraded to a Class A, changed to 93.9, licensed to Sellersburg, and moved
to Louisville. A new petition before the FCC is moving the French Lick station to 93.7. 93.7 is gone
from Seymour for good.

The staff & management of WQKC moved their product to 92.7 WXKU. Glad you enjoyed it on 93.7...well worth investing in an outdoor yagi to get your Seymour radio fix...

WQKC went directional nearly 3 years ago & it had a crippling effect to the north (as expected). The big money has spoken and it didn't speak favorably of Jackson County...
