Why dd Viacom lie?

Viacom has been running promos on TVLAND and on the TVLAND Facebook page that their original sitcom "Nobodies" was moving to The Paramount Network this season. It sure did, but it's also on TVLAND at the same time! It's being branded as "Paramount Network on TVLAND". Simulcasting is stupid and pointless. I always watch reruns of MOM at 10PM on TVLAND. But since Viacom is being stupid something I'm not interested in watching is on two Viacom channels at the same exact time.

From what I can see, the Paramount Network (formerly Spike) is available in over 93 million homes, while TV Land is available in 90 million. So it's possible not everyone has the same access as you.

Maybe they're just doing this for a little while so people looking for it can still find it in its old home before it goes exclusively to the new channel.

Viacom has been doing the Simicasting a program on one of their networks on their sister networks. they did this with the MTV VMAs airng on all the MTV/VH1 channels except CMT, the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards on all the Nick suite of channels except Nick Jr. and the west coast Nick feed on satellite providers and select cable providers that has the west coast feed too.

I know that and I get that. It's pointless. My point is TVLAND was promoting the show as moving to Paramount Network. It's not really the case since TVLAND is simulcasting it.
