A while back there was a relatively short thread about the departure of Maria Garcia from BLI. There was speculation on her replacement but almost none about why she left. I felt she might have left to become a full time mom, but the question was never answered. Maria was part of one of the most popular radio shows on Long Island for 8 years, and I'm suprised more attention wasn't given to the thread. Any thoughts or insite as to why she left?

I asked the same questions of friends and BLI, and was told that she "wanted to do something else." Does this mean another radio job, or just concentrate on her family? Only Maria knows for sure.
So now it's just the BLI Morning Show, and NO mention of "Steve and Maria" is allowed. The show is just Steve and Randy right now.<P ID="signature">______________
