why did Party pull the plug on 87.7?

I'm just curious. Seems like they were excited to be in NY.
Doesn't make a lot of sense for them to have pulled the plug without warning.

More likely that THEY were not the ones that pulled the plug. Really doesn't make sense that they'd be all fired up to get on the signal, make a big deal out it, talk about big marketing and promotion plans and then after just a couple of months suddenly decide that "it didn't fit their business plan". Smells a little fishy. Yes??

They TALKED about the marketing and promotion plans, but didn't actually DO much promotion in New York City besides appearing at a few clubs, and the Yankees parade.

they'd started doing some promotion. They didn't really have much time to do anything. They weren't on the air long.
While honestly PARTY may not have been a huge loss to real dance fans with it's rhythmic lean I think it is so strange how they came and went over night.
