Why did the Brew change?

How come the Brew changed? Was it because of bad ratings? I would have rather seen WKLH go - always disliked that station. Does anyone have airchecks when it had the Rock of 80s slogan? I just have airchecks going back as far as 2006.
 
Look at their ratings, which is from Winter 2009, The Brew had a 2.4. Not sure how WKLH is doing since they don't appear in my list.
 
Low ratings. They were in a format that was oversaturated. CHR is hot right now and CC saw opportunity for a second outlet.

The Brew's ratings had actually been going up of late.

Plus, the Portland "Brew" is a huge PPM performer.

Surprised they didn't wait for PPM to make a move.
