Why does Alicia Keys like to scream?

Alisha Keys is a talented artists; she has a good voice, plays the piano well and is overall a decent entertainer.

But why does she like to scream in her songs? My ears cringe when she starts bellowing and screaming. When she mentions that New York's "lights will inspIIIIIIIre you" I want to gouge my ears out. Stop yelling!


Can't believe that Empire State of Mind hit #1 this week on Billboard. What an average, uninspired song. This songs makes me want to run the direction, away from NYC.
