Why does my quicktime stutter??

when you're putting together your vid, what type of file is the audio? mp3? aiff? wav?

i had this problem when i was editing with final cut pro. the audio would glitch if i was using an mp3 file. quick fix: try converting the audio to .aif and see if that works.

thanks rM,

I'm not producing vid...just trying to stream on-line with quicktime.

Hopefully I don't have to download and convert everytime, that sounds yuck
