Why does Streetz 94.5 audio quality sound so bad?

The music sounds fine....but as soon as a jock starts talking its like they are right on top of the Mic....I find it very hard to listen to the jocks. It's like that constant feedback sound when they talk. Why is this? Anyone know?

I know it sounds like that on the TuneIn app, but on the radio it sounds ok, to me. One thing I've noticed is it sometimes sounds as if the audio is buffering or skipping.

And on another note why does Steve continue to program the same songs on 1010?? You hear the same old disco songs over and over and songs that are just CRAP. I really don't listen any longer and he seems to only want to target a black audience and not play any of the great Top 40 R&B songs. I have talked to other friends and they too no longer listen.

Hmm, maybe once 1010 gains an FM translator things may improve beacuse there is no promo for the station. It's interesting that the "OLD SCHOOL" format and brand is being rolled out by Radio One and Hegwood jumped on it. Considering Radio One Atlanta has 102.9 and 97.5, wonder if it was ever considered to bring Old School here and skew MAJIC to more current R&B.

Streetz 94.5 showed up in the February ratings with a .1 rating and 1.1 share in persons 6+, which is really good for a translator. That means it did much better in AA 12-34, which is its target audience.

For comparison, Hot 107-9 had a .3 rating and a 4.9 share.
