Why doesn’t the History Channel just change its name

CBS can never "not be" the Columbia Broadcasting System.
Just like the CW is the...uhh..Country and Western.... ;)

The letters "CW" in the name of the broadcasting company stand for CBS and Warner Bros.

Humor. It is a difficult concept. It is not logical.

I was sure Tom Wells was joking about the letters standing for "Country and Western" before posting my previous message.

Maybe the History Channel should just become "H"!

That way, they can keep their "H" logo.

"'The Bible'...Tonight at 8 Eastern and Pacific on H!".

Well, they do have H2 for actual history in the same way MTV has MTV-U, MTV Jams & MTV Hits for music videos. Can someone tell the BBC to start BBC America2 because my PBS station isn't showing good BBC shows anymore (Red Dwarf, MPFC, Faulty Towers) ;D
