Radio One in Philly Recently Put Swapped their Stations, putting the WRNB Format on the Better Frequency on 100.3 and the HIP Hop or (Noise) Format on the weaker 107.9

WHy not do the same thing in Dallas. The Beat will never beat K104, and besides most of today's So Called RAP or Hip Hop is Crap anyways, Not the real true Rap Music of the 1980's and 90's. Just a Thought...........

I personally don't listen to much Hip Hop but I'm sure quite a few people would disagree with your assessment that it's "Crap." Just to be clear, are you suggesting that Radio One put KBFB on a rimshot signal like 94.5 and put KSOC on 97.9?

I do agree with you to some extent. The product distributed by today's hip hop artists sound so effortless. And thanks to 97.9's PD, The Beat will never beat K104, but they are already on life support. Moving to 94.5 would sign their death certificate. If Radio One did put the old school on 97.9, black gospel would be the better solution for 94.5.

They are giving up on Dallas. The scraped 94.5 clean and added no payroll. It's a sure sign of a pending sale. Can you say "Inner-City" after Magic and partners clean house and kick the Sutton's out. The two stations would fit right in and the Dallas market would be a plus.

And Kenny J who will be on next.
