The Panthers lost to the Rams in St. Louis in a 1:00 game.
I tape Andy Rooney on a TV/VCR hooked up to converter box no. 1, from a station 90 miles from Charlotte. Every week after "America's Funniest Home Videos" I go in and check to see if "60 Minutes" is still on and if so, I press "record". if I have enough VHS tape, I just keep recording until the end of "Desperate Housewives" and come in and watch the rest of "Undercover Boss". Last night, I didn't need to do that (or so I thought), and I switched back to the channel "The Simpsons" were on rather than take a chance I'd forget to do that. Also, I don't think I had enough tape.
I tape "Undercover Boss" using TiVo, but I was doing it from the channel in the Panthers' home market. The Panthers and Rams are both NFC teams. When I pressed the play button, I got 20 minutes of "The Amazing Race". Rather than watch only 40 minutes of the show I chose to wait for the rerun, even though I could have seen most of the rest of the show. I deleted the season pass for the CBS station in Charlotte because for some odd reason, the channel I watch on converter box no. 1 is on my cable system too. So I changed to that channel for my season pass. Now, this won't happen again. Whatever was happening at 8:00 will tell me exactly what will record.
