Why is 1590 going off the air at night?

To update the original thread, for the last two nights KMIC has went entirely silent at 8:30. No longer is it going to dead air, but NOW is going completely off of the air, with a Mexican station from somewhere faintly audible on the frequency. From bad to worse....I thought someone was going to inform their engineer about this!

Sounds like KMIC is REALLY a Mickey Mouse operation. Why the GM still has a job is the question to ask at this point. From what I know, that station has a station manager, but is run out of a regional office on the West Coast. The traffic and ops are run out of Houston, which is why this problem continues to baffle us. It should have been well addressed by now.
