Why is KCAL 9 arranging the news people?

Hi,
For the last three months (or about there)
KCAL 9 has been shuffeling the news prople.
Why are they doing that?
Will it stop?
 
It is strange. First David Jackson was let go, now he has resurfaced on KABC doing reports on the middle east crisis. Then they hired Mary Beth McDade, first seen only on the weekends, then she started doing weeknight casts. She was really bad a few years ago out here in Palm Springs. Haven't noticed her in a few days now and she was never added to the web site so hopefully she is gone.
 
Paul Magers from sister CBS 2 was doing the 10 PM news on KCAL 9 Thursday night. I was quite surpised to see him on KCAL.
