I know that Quivers had some health issues late last year, I believe a growth that had to be removed. While she was recuperating from surgery, they set up an ISDN in her Upper West Side apartment so she could continue doing the show while on the mend.
But as of a few weeks ago, she was having some ISDN problems. Howard was hearing echoing in his headphones. So that makes me ask, is she still too ill to come to the studio? It's only about 30 blocks from her home. Does she never leave her apartment? Or is it just easier for her not to have to go the 30 blocks on those mornings she is on the air with Howard?
I know she doesn't want to talk about it on the air, other than to say she's doing fine. She sounds OK. But is she doing fine? And if she is, why isn't she in the studio?
