WHY IS THIS STATION ON MY PRESETS?

Another fun topic for us....

On our car presets, home presets or wherever you listen to radio, we all have presets generally ranging from 6 to 18 stations. What is the one station on your presets that you turn to and ask yourself, 'why is this station on my presets?' and why?

My personal vote is for KCBS. I can't stand 90% of the music they play and I think their imaging is tired at this point. On occassion, I hear a song I actually like, but they are so few and far between I think of replacing it on my presets every time I get to their station. If only I had something meaningful to replace it with.

No habla Espaniol. It's Spanish now, in case you've been locked away for a few years...
I took Spanish in High School, so I know one or two words they are saying. I haven't replaced it since Indie went off the air.

104.3 MYfm... I call them "my girlfriends station" ;D

KLOS the same 12 songs by the same 10 artists over and over and over and over and over and ........... Plus they usually break up the commercials for an occasional song.

On AM, anything other than KNX.

Funny you should say that. (Read the thread "I Miss The Old KNX" That used to be the ultimate station for me when they had football, the drama hour, etc.. Now I rarely listen to it.

Of course, KNX is now getting better numbers than it has in about a decade or more; in the 2000-2001 averag it has about a 2.1 12+ share, and now the average is around a 3, and in rank it is around 10th now as opposed to around 18th to 20th in 2000.
