Does no one listen to sports talk any more? I know my radio will be stuck on 760 this weekend on the NFL draft. I gues they will cover it again this year.
My incomplete point was that the nighttime signal rules out putting Spurs games and Cowboys games, a handful of which each year are on at night, on The Ticket.radiotex- said:What part of the San Antonio Market does the 50,000 watts not cover? Granted 1000 watts at night doesn't do it any favors but really, limited signal is not a problem. Limited contenet, however...

I almost fell out of my chair the other day when Charlie admitted he knew little about NBA teams other than the Spurs.screamformelongbeach said:Charlie Parker and his hippie burnout schtick are laughable. Much like Chancellor, his sports knowledge of anything beyond the Spurs and Cowboys is non-existent.
He's only absorbed with himself and if you haven't noticed he's kissing major Fox butt to try to get in with them. He talks too fast and he's starting to get the "Jeff Bolton" ego. I cant stand listening to him any more. Instead, you get a big dose of discussion of the Lakers and the Yankees. In Bruno's case, any team from Philadelphia gets a lot of play. I think the Clear Channel braintrust must have decided that you have to be provincial to get ratings out of sports talk here during drive time.Listening to Joe Pags, who is on opposite Chance and Charlie on the Blowtorch, it's clear that he doesn't know much about the Spurs. But at least he has absorbed enough to ask good questions.
