I noticed TNT is doing something different. On the left side of the TNT logo they have a transparent promo that stays up during the whole show with the TNT bug. Right now it says "Without A Trace tonight at 7:00pm". So why is TNT doing this? It just takes away from the program can't we just have the promo coming out of commerical only. I don't see USA or TBS doing this now.

I hate that. I also hate how all the networks do pop-ups about what's coming up.
Examples from Lifetime:
You're Watching: The Nanny
Next: The Golden Girls
Lifetime Movie: Girl Like Me The Gwen Ario (SP?) Premires June 19 @ 9PM.
Lets see if I want to know what's coming up next I'll either tune to the TV Guide Channel during a commercial break, look at my on-screen guide during a commercial break, or l'll log onto TV.YAHOO.COM
Also can't stand how Lifetime starts promoting a movie they're premireing a month in advance.
Maybe 2 Minutes before a show ends networks can do a small pop-up at the bottom the screen promoting what's coming up next.

What TNT is doing is not cool...but I do like seeing the little short promos about what is on and what's next. It helps me decide whether to keep flipping or stick around to watch this and the next show. I hate the TV Guide channel. It's obnoxious IMHO. I want to know what's on...not have to hear Hollywood and Celebrity worship at the same time. There's already a network, and tons of tabloid news shows to put that on.
