WBZB has a horrible signal i dont think you can even hear it a citibank park...and after listening to it the board op is horrible.....i know there on another station but forgot what that was...

WNYG is the other.

WLIE's agreement is over. They should be on WMJC, hell it's gotta be better than that .6 they're getting. I know B-103 is all over the Ducks.. and you don't want to mess with that. But wouldn't it be smart if Barnstable were able to use them on 94.3. The promotions they could do in front of a captive audience of 6000 at Citibank Park would be more people than actually listen. And maybe people would actually stay around and sample the station after the game is over. You've gotta do something here people.

94.3 is crippled, this could be something to generate some buzz. Clean up the format, the audio, add the ducks... voila. Happy radio station.

Somehow I don't think the Ducks are the answer for WMJC. Sure, they might get a bump up, but the current product is not bringing them in the door unescorted...why do you think baseball will help?

The best answer to WMJC's programming woes came from someone I know: Turn it into WHLI-FM. After the AM signs-off, the FM could continue with the soft AC sound (Buble, Sinatra, Krall, Bennett, etc.) all night.

I'm thinking the reason that i noticed the board op from BZB wasnt that good is becasue it was the first week, but besides that li ducks baseball sounds great on radio. And its great to have a local baseball team on radio and the announcers are good too.

I think the Ducks would be the start of a whole image change for WMJC that would include a format flip. I agree with the WHLI thing, but the David Eduardos of the world have created an environment in radio where playing a Sinatra record is almost as bad as saying N---y Headed etc.

Has "nappy" become the new "N-word"? Missed that.

WMJC is farting in the same bath water as WPLJ, WCBS-FM, WALK & even WJKY and the bigger ACs have taken all the toys. The latest re-do (I hear that McVay is behind this) is lame and positions the station as the ninth button (out of six) on anyone's radio.

Which day were you listening to ducks baseball when you say the board op was sooo bad?

It wasnt that bad i think i exagurated a little bit..but it seemed like there were problems with the broadcast on BZB on Sunday and Saturday. I guess that its was just some first week jitters since WLIE did the games last year.
