WIKX (Kix Country 92.9) is one of three country stations that serve the Fort Myers/Naples market. Given how popular country radio is, it's quite shocking to not see it in the ratings. IHeartMedia's stations, in my experience, always appear in the ratings of their respective market. Despite not being heard well in Naples, it offers a city-grade signal to Fort Myers and Cape Coral. It makes me wonder why iHeartMedia doesn't bother subscribing the station, as it probably would, if it was subscribed, be more popular than say, WSGL. Any answers?
