Why Liberty Wants iHeart

Just announced today that iHeart is extending its relationship with CMT for a number of country shows syndicated by Premiere Radio. More evidence they're laying the groundwork for bankruptcy. Cumulus did the same thing, extending deals, bonusing executives, and making sure all of their relationships are intact before declaring bankruptcy. The point is to make sure everyone is still on board when they reach the other side.
