Why no old Skool on KBTE?

Ok, this is not any kind of bashing, let me make that clear from the begininig.
I like the way THE BEAT is sounding. But I have one question: Why no old School?
Is it a numbers/research thing? Even Kiss104.3 had an old school lunch hour. Instead, I hear some of that music on Mix100 during the weekends (mixed in with alternative retro stuff), but none of it on the 104-9. Wouldn't it fit in better there, or is it a demographics type of thing?

...and while I'm on the subject of Lubbock Radio, WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE MAKE SURE KOOL 98 GOES INTO THEIR SPOT-BREAKS WITH "IN" ELEMENTS? Or, is that unpurpose also (a la Stars104-3) ?
 
I agree 100% Every once in a blue moon I'll hear an old school song but it's always the same Puff Daddy song. I like the way Kiss mixed in old school with their everyday rotation.

Even while Kiss was concerned about skewing too old, they still managed to put the old school in!
