WHY NOT MORE FMXTRA?

I have trouble understanding why so few stations are not trying FMXtra. It only costs $10-15 to install. no changes to the transmitter or antenna needed . Just need to adjust modulation level of main carrier to accomdate the SCA subcarrier. Enginners who have tried it and have posted here, say the system is very good. And it can be used with hybrid and extended hybrid IBOC.

Four words: "Not very many radios." I'm a fan of FMExtra but other than buying a radio on the web, there is nothing to receive the signal You just can't find one in a store. That might change, and I hope it does. It is a simple and elegant solution.

Outside of radio-geeks, no one cares.
