I was driving home from CT yesterday and hoped to pick up an early NFL game on Westwood One/WEEI. Instead I hear Mustard and Johnson on Yankee Talk. I had it on exactly long enough to hear a caller say, "glad to hear that you will be back on Saturday mornings." Apparently Wolfie has put them back on Saturday's from 9-12. Why not continue the baseball show through the World Series and periodically plop it in during free agency, winter meetings, and spring training? In the interim put on old re-airs of, well, anything else?

Would it not be better to put Bradford and Mutnansky on Saturday 9-12 and then a BC/college football pre-game show leading into BC football? If BC has a noon game, put Mut and Bradford on after the game. Please, there has to be something better out there than Larry and Craig.

There is.........whatever's on 98.5.

Is that for certain? I would think that Mutt and Bradford would take over Saturday mornings. That's where they were before baseball season. I haven't heard one second of the Catfish and the Commie since their return. When they announced it a while back Ordway said that the regulars were not going to be allowed to call every week. Did they do that?
 
Mustard and Johnson is the best WEEI ( and The Sports Hub ) weekend show !!!!!!!!

Not sure. Like I said, I flipped it on long enough to hear Mustard's voice and, "Great to hear that you are moving back to Saturday mornings" and I hit the scan button.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow. I had hoped that the alliance with ESPN would put a final end to the worst show in the history of all media.

One good thing is that Lame Larry hasn't been on the Big Show in a while. I can't stand Felger but if I hear LJ's voice I'll switch over to 98.5.
 
Great example of the ineptness at 'eei, what better way to drive more listeners to your competitor than bringing back those two buffoons.

Heard DeAwful was on the big show three straight days this week. It's time for 'eei to wave the white flag if they can't do better than that.

I listened to Trupiano and Hardy. I know who Trupiano is but never heard of Hardy. Putting M&J on is probably great news for them. Up until now I bet most people have listened to the Baseball Show. I bet there were a bunch of "WTFs" and the station was changed all over New England at about 9:00 AM.

I don't understand WEEI. They mustn't be taking 98.5 seriously. Or else they just don't care about weekends. On the Big Show yeaterday they were making fun of a cartoon that Fat Larry did on his art website larryjohnsonart.com in which he tries to do play by play over one of his cartoons. If he wasn't such a buffoon, I'd actually feel sorry for him..............pathetic.

I wonder what's going to happen when B.C. has a 1:00 PM game. I would think that Bradford outranks these two.
 
9:12: They started well with some Pat's stuff but after the first break it was nyy-talk and " a man who's been hit in the mouth a few times, FFG." I never heard him, I was off.
