what is the deal with the wednesday evening hockey show(i'm not sure what they are calling it, nor do i care)? i dont understand how Gavin can think this is a good idea. it's terrible
 
Cool! Maybe WBAP can buy some spots on the show, directing listeners and fans over to 820 on game nights. ;D
 
Craig Ludwig, A sports caster (I think from CBS 11) and a famous Dallas Star, A current Dallas Star, or if they are in need of someone Gavin the deranged Star stalker.

The Dallas Stars Hockey Show can be heard normally after Inside The Huddle from 8:30 to 9:30 on Tuesday, but due to the fact that we had the elections this last tuesday the Stars show was pushed to Wednesday.


I went out to the show in Grapevine, aside from not hearing what they were saying it was interesting to meet Luddy and one of the greatest Star's Goalie (problem is I can't remember his name)

Not the greatest show, but I'd rather listen to this than the callers who try to say that Tom Lykis is wrong on everything he says.
 
Oh, that show is produced by Luds, he is either trading for the time, or buying it. he has done it for awhile, use to be on ESPN.
 
KLLI or ESPN?

KLLI has a NASCAR pre-race show, Inside the Huddle which is the Dallas Cowboys post-game show, and The Dallas Star's Hockey show which is the brain child of probably ONE Gavin Spittle.
 
KLLI appears to be taking sports alot more seriously as of late, maybe this is a play for them to get rid of their lead weight talent (Jagger, RMS, ect..) and go to a FM sports format.
 
If I wanted to listen to sports talk I would listen to the Ticket. I like hockey but Luddy is boring and the show drags, in my opinion. Then again the rest of the station has really gone to crap too. The Jagger Show is just a group of tools. B&S entertain me a bit. I’m glad they got rid of PandK. And Russ Martin is just the same crap everyday. Lykis gets boring and repetitive as well, but there are some exceptions. BDH although boring, I like. I just don’t know what happened to this station maybe I’ve just listened to it for so long it’s all just run its course.

Yup, run it's course. Martin has, anyway. Betcha a format change is underway...
 
the federal holiday has been celebrated on the monday since the 1970's ala columbus day. the actual holiday date is the 11th but businesses and govt. tend to have monday off. is it not this way in tx? do the local govts. not observe the federal holiday?
 
Nope... Everything is open Monday...

Veterans Day is an annual American holiday honoring military veterans. Both a federal holiday and a state holiday in all states, it is usually observed on November 11. However, if it occurs on a Sunday then the following Monday is designated for holiday leave.
