WHY WORRY ABOUT SPONSORS? ENJOY THIS GREAT SHOW.

There is a waiting list to get on RJ's show as a sponsor. For your information, RJ demanded to all the national sponors that they would give up three weeks of their national time, and on the fourth week after the viewers know the format he will be glad to be associated with Dish TV, fashion shows all over the many malls where he will televise his great looking models with Abercrombie and Fitch clothing. All hamburgers, and a national potato chip firm will be glad to serve the audience with free Mc Donalds food and a major soda beverage company, plus he will advertise DSL of Verizon weekly, and he will endorse TV's Dish Satellite Network. All of these sponsors will be in all the cities that carry RJ's tv and radio show, even on line coast to coast. RJ needed a least three weeks to line up some of the greatest guests on his shows. He had national publicity on three networks on Friday at Geno's Steaks. That is why Joe Vento, owner of Geno's Steaks was on coast-to coast on every network this weekend. He was RJ's first guest this past weekend on am 1540 at 3pm. He was followed by Philadelphia's number one talk show host Irv Homer, plus a surprise guest, nationally known Kal Rudman, good friend of Merv Griffin, and publisher of the Friday morning Quarterback, music magazine. He was very instrumental when the late Allen Carr invited RJ to work as a casting director for "Grease 2" at MGM Studios in Culver City, California in Hollywood. Most people watch the show. Only Odd balls like you watch the commercials, instead of going to the refrigerator and make yourself a snack. RJ has never put any of his money into a production. all the production money is paid by his sponsors. and if you must know, their is enough left over for RJ to receive a nice salary at the end of the week. I only wish you people on this crazy stream will learn how to be an independent producer someday before you are old and grey. Start looking in the mirror. Your getting older everyday. RJ will in a couple of weeks will have an am, fm, and tv show paid fully by his sponsors. I hope you guys will sleep good tonight and don't toss and turn because rj is ok. Now it's time to start the advertising that you're all worried about. We gave you a taste of one of the greatest talk shows you have had since the old 96.5 went off the air.

Okay, now you're telegraphing the fact that this is SPAM! What are you replying to? There are no other posts about these alleged commercials. Get a life!

OK, I admit it. After all this hype I did listen.

No spots! No spots at all!
Maybe there's a waiting list: A blank sheet of paper. But there were no advertisers.

Lots of chatter about how clogged the phone lines were but only pre-arranged calls.

An endorsement for Dish Network? He blasted Comcast (a tirade very similar to what KlassikKountry has posted). He said he is a Dish subscriber. Does this quality Dish as a sponsor? Right!

Publicity on all three networks? He said he was at Geno's when the camera crews showed up. Once again, RJ is the Forrest Gump of Philly radio. Their syntax is very similar, too.

Did Joe Vento pay to be on the show? I have to admit Vento is a very appropriate guest for RJ. "Vento" in Italian means "wind."

Andato col Vento

Does anybody else think the "writing styles" (I use the term loosely) of Powerhouse, Towernews and Rockintern all seem very similar to each other - and similar to how RJ speaks? ???

Sorry Sherlock :p, I am not any of those, RJ and the others are soul/disco/doo wop/Motown and R&B type, I am not. As for the other people you say I am, I am not those either. I am a Heavy Metal/Alternative/Hard Rock embracer who is 52 years old, I used the name KlassikKountry on the Nazi board, that is all, I am not nor claim to be anyone else. ::). I am just upset that I cannot hear the music I love on the FM Ter Band in this city. There is way too much urban product on the dial, what bugs me is all these people coming down on Rock. Give all types of music a chance, not just one element. I know if the shoe was on the other foot, the [********] would be screaming for blood. Bottom Line; if I had one, only one full time Active Rocker, you would never hear anything from me, but the urbanic lovers want every station to sound like some sort of Rhythmic/Thug clone. Condemn me if you choose, but in your heart you know I am right and so does everyone else on this board. BTW I am glad YSP is spinning the new AFI stuff, great band, also, Joan Jett is back with a sexy video and new CD, will we hear it in Philly, doubt it, even though she is a native from Upper Darby, but you know we will be sure to hear Yankee Daddy again and again. :'(

[EDIT*=name calling]

Triple K... he was accusing RJ of being FULL OF WIND... really now get a clue.

Hello Mr. HAck cough! cough! cough! excuse me ...please change back to your original name, it's alittle Heavy on the windpipe.
Well anyway....I'm Baaack. I'll be auditing your post just in case you end up on a politically correct , peaceneck, pacifistic, socialistic, extreme leftist frequency agenda. And yes you will get my feedback or criteria on your ...instead of an aircheck, post check let's call it. See how radio related I kept it.
I leave you alone for now and let you get back to listen to your Laffy Taffy CD.
