Cox rhythmic WHZT (Hot 98.1)/Greenville, S.C., has filled its opening in afternoon drive with the hiring of Marino. He will also handle MD duties, partially replacing PD/afternoon personality Jet Black, who departed earlier this month.

Marino will get started on Halloween and joins Hot 98.1 from Citadel/Wilkes-Barre CHR/top 40 WBHT/WBHD.

About his new job, Marino says, "I'm very excited about joining HOT 98.1 in Greenville, S.C.! I'm looking forward to working with Cox Radio and the opportunity to improve on Hot 98.1’s stellar ratings."

Cox/Greenville OM Steve Crumbley picked up PD duties after Jet Black's departure and will continue to program Hot 98.1 until further notice.
