Gardner's back . . . and you'll hear him

He started as the new station manager at WTDY-AM (1670) last Monday, and already Glen Gardner had the Illinois plates removed from his car.

"People stopped giving me the finger," jokes Gardner, who came to Madison in the '80s, worked on WTDY and WTSO before leaving five years ago to manage four stations in Springfield, Ill.

"I had an inkling I'd be back," says Gardner. "I never sold my house here." ...
