WIAU ownership

Does anyone know what is going on with the LMA at WIAU? I had someone ask the other day. I would have thought that after 18 months that the LMA would have expired or that Raven would actually OWN the station.

Just curious.

How much money can you loose during an LMA???

Raven is loosing money on WXLW and add the cash flow or lack of in Franklin to this.

Maybe they decided to exit the LMA with no purchase.

LMA - $20 grand a month (20 months? $400,000)

Purchase Price - $5 million dollars

Getting out now while you still have money - Priceless.

Loose is what your shoes are if you don't tie them

Lose and losing is what the Byrds are doing.

Say, who's that snake-oil salesman on the other side of the LMA agreement?

Was there a broker listed on the deal?

pastor hood is still the owner.

This was an uphill battle from the start. I still think the best option is Southern Gospel on WXLW.

Ofcourse IMUS is looking for a new broadcast outlet.
