WIBG IS BACK!

Has anyone heard that WIBG is back?

They're now an FM station at the Jersey Shore (Ocean City). The old jingles, liners, are back! Unfortunately, many of the great personalities of yesteryear are gone but Jim Nettleton was doing mornings there until his recent, untimely death.

I like the guy in the morning Bob Charger and believe he worked at WIBG. Also, Rick Rock, the guys that follows him in mornings, is great.

I'm glad WIBG is back .. seems like so much has gone away .. IT'S a Breath of Fresh Air for my Day, everyday! josh

It may be back....in New Jersey. Not in Philadelphia.

We'll see how long it lasts. People don't generally want to always be going down "memory lane." That's why this station will ultimately fail.

Both CBS FM and WOGL continue to do what they need to do so they'll be relevant today.

I do not as a general rule complain about another post. Point being Josh, I respect yuor enthusiasm over a particular radio station but I think we get the point now.

Did Bob Charger leave WOGL to go work at the Jersey version of WIBG? Or is he "moonlighting"?
