WIBG Question

When Ed took over was this when they gave up fighting WFIL around October 1969 and they went back to being "the real WIBBAGE"? When did Buckly Broadcasting take over? I guess this is a good question for Sam Lit.

Ed Richards was succeeded by Bill Winters. Then when they went back to Top 40 in 1973 it was Jerry DelColliano, then Don Cannon after that.

I saw mention in a previous post of Sandy Mirzeoff, as a Music Director of WIBG back "in the day". Besides Sandy and Larry Justice, who was Music Director a year before and during the "British Invasion", who else held the MD position at WIBG during the late 50s, 60s and 70s? I would say that being Music Director at a powerhouse station as WIBG was quite a jewel to list on one's resume.
