Around 6PM tonight the WIBG-94.3 truck was parked in the Best Buy lot on Columbus Blvd it was a large black van with WIBG white logos all over it....was still there when I left at 7pm. Funny thing, a white van with Coastal Communications was parked a few spots away, are they advertising WIBG for internet listeners in this area...go figure...

My guess is that they're trading out (or just paying for) installation for a couple of sound systems for their vans. When I worked in Wilmington, we went as far as Baltimore for service, free or not, on our vehicles.

I saw the 92.3 Now van driving south on the Garden State Parkway near exit 60, way out of range of its signal. And I see ads for Magic 98.3 on buses in Atlantic City and New York, and also a bus ad for SoJo 104.9 in New York.

Drat! I thought you meant the "REAL" WIBG van. Now that would have been a find. :)

Actually, since WFIL had the Mustangs, we used gussied-up stock Chevrolet Camaros (I think a Breyner trade). The trucks (2) were fairly nondescript, coulda been from a bakery or a plumber. It prevented them from being the target of theft of equipment.
