So what's the deal with this station? Half the programming seems female-oriented, like Dr. Joy Browne.
Then they throw on a local sports show in middays. Who is their target audience? Do they have an audience?

Someone told me the Mennonites had a veto on all programming on the station, which may account for the lineup.
 
The transmitter is located right in the middle of Sarasota's Mennonite community on a cell tower at Beneva and Bahia Vista. Dont know anything about clearing programming. Radio Babe at the Sarasota Herald tribune comments this week about the Starguide receiver being tuned to the wrong channel and they were running non authorized programming in the AM.. Sounds like nobody at the switch...
