WIBZ

I was wondering is Miller's WIBZ 95.5 in Sumter still playing Oldies? I remember it was satellite (Oldies Radio/Slammin' Gold) when I heard it a good while back. Is it still satellite 24/7?

On the way to the beach I was on 102.9 FM in Florence, whatever its call letters are now, and it was adult urban. I remember them saying it was at 102.9 and 95 something.

Stop the press :) :) :)... I know I am behind, but when did 102.9 change formats again... I thought they had just switched from active rock to classic hits... or has it been that long... Man qantum changes formats more than some people change underware :). CC1

well they changed to classic hits from active rock last feb or march of 06 then flipped to urban ac late last year as Flo 102.9: Flo-towns R&B leader. They carry Steve harvey mornings, wendy williams afternoon.

Miller website

yeah i noticed that too when i went to miller.fm and noticed they are in construction mode. let's just hope this means something for their stations too. lol

PS I just checked miller.fm again, and the site goes directly to a automatic mywebsearch or whatever search engine. did they lose their website, or did it go completely down for maintenance?

He probably bought a small server and moved it in to a bigger market server. Then he'll start with Windows, move to Mac, back to Windows, then simulcast with Mac until he finds the right format.

(A little move in joke for the locals)

I heard classic hits or Triple-A or something off-the-wall (maybe even Jack) on that station on the way to the beach in 2004 and active rock in 2005.

I remember active rock being on back in 2005... Me and my wife went to MB and I was flipping through just to see how PeeDee radio sounded and although they were active they also played old punk rock as well which was well out of place on an active rocker...CC1
