WICS/WICD Sold

FCC records show Sinclair has filed to sell WICD/WICS (along with KTVO/KHQA in Missouri and WVTV in Milwaukee) to Rincon Broadcasting, which would appear to be connected to Todd Parkin. That name rings a bell, but I can’t place it.
 
Mr. Parkin was most recently an executive at Diamond Sports Group, which was at one time controlled by Sinclair.

Mr. Parkin was at one time president of Parkin Broadcasting Corporation, which served as a sidecar company to New Vision Television in Topeka, Savannah and Youngstown. New Vision was sold to LIN, and the Parkin stations were initailly sold to Vaughan Media, which still owns at least one of them.
