Wide Orbit automation lockups

we have a Google/Wide Orbit automation system, and one of our studio units continually freezes and locks up. We have them in all of our studios, but this particular one is a problem. Has anyone else had an issue with constant lockups and if so, how did you remedy it. This is driving me and our tech staff batty! WO is of no help...

Comming hardware faulure?
Power supply. Memory. Hard drives. Motherboard. Fans running?

I second this. How old is the computer? Just in general, I don't find software locking up the entire computer. Software will usually crash, but if the entire computer is locking up I would take a hard look at the computer hardware.

Is your back-up hard drive image up to date? The last repetitive lock-up I had proceeded a hard drive failure.

I'm sorry to hear their support sucks. If it helps, I do know corrupt audio files can cause these problems, especially files that are constantly modified, weather cuts, news, etc. Check for database problems too. And obviously, look at the items already suggested on this board. Good luck.

I would check caps on the motherboard...same hardware as the others? What error does the system display?

Replace the RAM. Hardware under warranty? Love our new nexgen system....
