Those who knew Jeff Freeman remember him as one of the gentlest, kindest human beings on earth, as well as a talented on-air person. His murder was barbaric. Now his wife has been charged in the murder. I'm attaching the AP story. - Bill Miller (I Am Still Suitcase Simpson)
NASHVILLE (AP) -- A woman in a high-profile love triangle in Nashville is now charged with murder in the case.
The woman's husband was beaten to death after he discovered her boyfriend living in a closet at the couple's home.
Martha Ann Freeman and her boyfriend Rafael DeJesus Rocha-Perez have both been indicted on first-degree murder charges stemming from the April death of her husband Jeffery A. Freeman.
The husband's body was found by police in a bathroom at the couple's home.
Police have said Rocha-Perez killed Freeman after the husband heard sounds of snoring and found the suspect living in a bedroom closet. Freeman, who slept in a separate bedroom from her husband, had allowed her boyfriend to live inside her closet for several weeks before the slaying.
Freeman and Rocha-Perez are scheduled to be arraigned August 31.
