WIFE FM Connersville Loses another on air "talent"?

First time poster. Just currious what's with the revolving door at WIFE? Ted Cramer is gone?? What? Another PD not get along with Jerri? How can this be? Now the other half of 2 guys in a truck is listed as pulling 6 hours 6am to noon on their website. Bet Brett loves that! :D

And to think that I was having regrets about pulling out of consideration for that position last year...my insider friends' advice was right.

I have long lurked here but never thought to post until now. Jerri and I got along great! I had a good working relationship with the entire staff in the Connersville, Rushville cluster. We were a great team and it was a very positive experience working to put 94.3 on the right track and keep Superoldies sounding great. I worked with good people, Jerri, Gary Havens, Brett, Jordan, Mr. Peacock, Mike Selke, Beth Gist and the sales and support staff and had good interaction with our sister stations in Richmond when it was called for.
While I will not go into my reasons for no longer being a part of the cluster, as they are the business of Jerri and myself, I will say I left on great terms, still consider those I worked with my friends and am next door neighbors with one of them.
So you can put your poison pens away, nothing dramatic, no dramas, battles or wars.....I know the truth can sometimes be less than exciting, but it does have the advantage of being the truth.

That's quite PC of you Ted. Almost brought a tear to my eye. Gotta try to keep those references in good standing. That's understandable in an already tough market. I wonder if Beth Gist who now much like yourself, suddenly moving on and no longer a member of the staff, is of the same opinion? If a salesman trys to sale you a lemon but it's obviously an orange, no matter what he say's it's still an orange. I wonder if it was just house cleaning or if there's more yet to come out? With Connerville and Rushville both being small communities it's only a matter of time before the juicy details seep out. Like sands through an hour glass...so are the days of our lives.

You sir are attmepting to stir a pot and create a scandal where none is. Beth, like myself has moved on, her opinions are hers, my opinions are mine and for the record I am the most un-PC person you will ever meet. Now if you are truly Mr. Wilson, you know what is going on since you work, more or less for the company, although trying to stir this pot may cure that. Let it go, let the stations go on serving their communities and find something more constructive to do with your time...

I would suggest the moderator lock this thread or remove it all together so that innocent people are not smeared by someone who quite obviously has an axe to grind.

I witnessed this first hand...Jerri and Ted admired and respected each other and worked exceptionally well together. If you're looking for dirt, your efforts may be better rewarded elsewhere. I believe at the end of the day, all you'll find here is a simple case of cutting expenses... Best wishes Ted! I'll miss working with you.

OMG! Just when you thought WIFE might be making the right choices they go and bring back Ted Cramer?? Did Briscoe get the can this time? I thought Ted was part of "cutbacks" that involved 2 on air and 2 off air employees. ???

Hey Mister Willlllsooooon - looks like Mr. Cramer not only did the right thing and kept things on the professional level after leaving, but likes the place enough to go back! Makes you look a bit foolish. It's one thing to voice YOUR opinion about a station (as we all enjoy doing) but quite another to write that someone is being less than truthful about his personal feelings about a former (now current) employer.

Maybe what you've heard is from former employees that weren't pulling their weight and were therefore dogged by management (as they should if not performing). Always amazes me when someone tells another person that was actually there that they are being PC just because they don't share your opinion.

And by the looks of the questions you keep asking on this thread, you don't know nearly as much about this station as you think you do.

I hope Ted will be happy with his return to the station.

I could not have said it better myself and as you said it so well, I don't have to. And yes, I am greatly enjoying my return. Great people to work with and a great company to work for. As I said before Mr. Wilson, the time you are spending stirring this pot would be better spent doing other things. Obviously you have been fed really bad information. Have a great day! :)
