WIFI 92 tribute site

I am a long time fan of radio studio pictures. Nice to see the old WIFI studios.

But I wonder why there is no mention of Johnny Devereaux (sp?). He did afternoons and later evenings in the 1965-1967 era. He played some show tunes in the mid-day, then Top 40 for awhile from 3 til 5:45, with the "Hymns at Evening Tide" program for 15 minutes at that point! Then for a time he did the "Devereaux Experience", a type of progressive rock show, in the evenings.

Nice site but the coverage map is way off, its for Country 92, since their move to the farm. When WIFI was top 40/ROT80's/Hit Parade/Solid Gold, althought their power was the ancient allowance at 50kw at 500' they had no signal in Center City, going South, East and Northeast, their strength was toward Reading, Harrisburg, Allentown and points SW. I think this hurt them, they had no coverage in the ratings areas, MMR would walk all over them in many areas, they also used the compressed stereo separation which made them sound like an AM on FM.
