Whoever does it first on FM is going to make some $$. Both WCEO and WQVA have the best numbers those signals have been doing in years since they started Spanish language programming. In the case of WQVA, it actually shows above the line.
[quote aI noticed that last night while scanning the dial. I guess that there is room in the market for it and I guess that they will make money doing it, leave it to Miller to flip their format againuthor=DudeFan link=topic=67497.msg481428#msg481428 date=1175356490]

If had known a lick about Hispanic programming, we would have done Spanish on 99.3. But Mom and Dad insisted that I do 5.5 years of Latin. Shows how useful that was!
I'll have to tune in. 93.9 doesn't come in well at all at Rose Creek. Once I get the Yagi up on the house, I'll have a better chance.
I was thinking the same thing Scott about it being a stunt, but why, this would be a good format for 93.9. I think this format may be here to stay. But if it is a stunt, Power 93-9 anyone? Nah doubt it.
AHHHHHHHH Harold Harold Harold!!! If it is Spanish at least give it a week to see if the listeners likes it before you change the format again... He changes formats more than I change underwear and that is a daily thing . CC1
I don't think it will be changing again, because I tuned into 94.1 from Greenwood and realized 93.9 and 94.1 are sharing the same programming or are simulcasting. Is Miller selling/sold WIGL?
It was April Fool's and a dramatic format shift occurred so the cycnic in me reared its' ugly head. You're all right, Spanish is a no brainer. The first one with the stones to make the format change permanent will be a hero to the Hispanic community in the area. Now is not the time to lean on my pop culture Spanish language education culled from years of Taco Bell commercials...gotta get out the textbooks again.
