WIGL

Is back on from Winnsboro today. Appears to be STL tests. Pretty warbly and stuttering digital link with Bad Dog program audio.

So right now they are wiggling in Winnsboro.

LoL Gatekeeper. U still in Orangeburg county? What's the signal like there? I can imagine it may be easier to DX WQBT 94.1 out of Savannah once 93.9 in Winnsboro is on.

At times you can still hear WIGL here but they fade in and out a good bit. WQBT sounded pretty good here when WIGL was off the air and of course you pick them back up now with little trouble. Weather conditions have been strange with DX'ing this spring, I have seen times that the DX would peak as heavy as it does now but not nearly as often and consistance as it has this spring, It's probly been about ten years since it was quite this rough or good depending on which way you look at it.

WIGL must be back on at St. Matthews, since I can't pull it in here.

DX has been strange this year. It's been predictable in that Kingstree and Chester will top over us starting around 4-4:40a and continue until 8 or so, depending on how sunny and warm it gets. The more quickly it warms up, the quicker it does away. On a cloudy day like today, we never have any issues.

Well, in July it will be a year since WIGL signed back on with the simulcast of Bad Dog 105. It took a year for them to sign back on from that after signing off Ritmo. So, I expect the new format to debut or stunting to begin in a few weeks. I could probaly be wrong. But oh well. Let's see what Miller has in store for us.

Neil from the sounds of it they could call it 93.9 The Hiss since that is about for the most part it has been LOL... Hope things are going good down in Sandlapper land... CC1
