Just wondering how they are sounding? That was the very first station I ever worked at back in 1981 when they had just switched from WKYE to WBCV. Back then, it was what it was, and was taken over by a preacher from Bristol named Jennings Dotson. and with the exception of jocks like Jill Kelly, Cecil Reed and Tim Hickman, it was pretty awful. Had a lot of "Dollar-a-Holler" preachers...and it drove me up the wall when Jennings would get on the air and say "Dubba-Ya Bee Cee Vee"

With it being owned by Dewey Williams, who is another local preacher, but is fairly intelligent and has a good sized church that sits right off I-81, I hope it would be better. Last I heard last year, they had a guy named Fred Bonn as the Sales Manager...Fred was better known as John Dixon on WXBQ.

Don't wanna wish 'em any bad luck, and hope they can make it a decent AM, but I doubt it will. They used to have a website, but none now that I can find.
