Not as wide a variety as WYAB? Sorry... gotta disagree with you. WJQS has over 3,000 songs in rotation... and they are adding more each day.

Casual Observer may have some more insight on the oldies format at WYAB, but I'm pretty confident that WJQS has more variety.

Hey all -

Thanks for dragging me into this now... WMGO-FM/WYAB 93.1 FM played 2,624 Oldies songs in its regular rotation. The difference between 3,000 and 2,624 is "de minimus" (to quote an oft-used FCC term). One thing is certain nowadays, however: WJQS has a MUCH bigger Oldies variety than WYAB.

Let me clarify what I said. What I meant was the span of music. I would hear music on WYAB that spanned from the Glenn Miller-type through Led Zeppelin and even Whitney Houston. WJQS may have more songs, but I doubt they had such a wide span.

It is on Tunein.com. If you have the app for Windows 8 it is under Oldies 1400. I do know that it takes a little time on Windows 8 to buffer. It is also on http://tunein.com/radio/Oldies-1400-s30477/

Don't try it now because my Tunein app brings back a stream error. Maybe someone can look and see what is going on.

I'm using the Android version. It's a fantastic program IMHO, and far better than CC's iHeartRadio and CBS' Radio.com apps, which are bloated, slow and crashy on Android.
