Wiki-Freestyle (The new generation of.... electro-freestyle?)

I don't know if people have been keeping up with what is being written in Wikipedia in regards to certain genres in dance music, but I was just checking out the latest update in "freestyle" and what I found was somewhat shocking. If you look at the "The Freestyle Comeback" section near the bottom of the page, what you will see may surprise you. Whoever updated it was mentioning how freestyle was coming back, then in  the second part of The Freestyle Comeback" section, this was what they gave as an example of FREESTYLE being popular again:

??? DANITY KANE, LINDSAY LOHAN, CIARA (FANTASY RIDE album), DESTINY'S CHILD, PARIS HILTON, HILARY DUFF...ETC.  ???

Now, a few songs from all those artists may have been freestyle influenced, but whoever updated wikipedia freestyle went as far as to say many of those albums individually had "quite a bit" of freestyle on them! I wonder if any of the people on the several freestyle music boards out there saw this, and if so, why hasn't there been any riots, boycotts, or demands for a correction and apology from the Wikipedia freestyle writer? I mean, there are people who argue about artists and songs like La Rissa or Underdog Project that are ACTUALLY ON freestyle compilations not being freestyle and getting super nasty on those boards as if it were an illegal immigration or political debate. However, some person is roaming around freely talking about "Destiny's Child had a "huge freestyle hit"" and saying Danity Kane, along with Pussycat Dolls, had an album with NUMEROUS freestyle hits- and nobody's seeing this? They even said Rihanna had an album of SEVERAL FREESTYLE HITS THAT WERE SUCCESSFUL!!

WHY WAS I ON AN UNRELIABLE SOURCE LIKE WIKIPEDIA?
Now, before I get beat up for reading wikipedia, I shall explain why I (accidentally) ended up there in the first place. I was searching for a certain style of music, and as many of you know from past chats, I'm not too fond of being a huge fan of a sound that now has no name. It does kind of make it a tad bit difficult to look for new music or something in google that...well, has no name, because you must type SOMETHING in the search box. I'm not looking for typical house, electro, baltimore club, top 40, pop hits, r&b, or "club" (which always tends to translate to HOUSE, ELECTRO, BALTIMORE CLUB, TOP 40 REMIXES..etc). I'm looking for the modern bass and freestyle (or urban dance) sound. While there is plenty of it out there, It's extremely hard to find, unlike everything else where you can easily type in a name and do a search and BAM! There you go with a whole plethora. You must type in OTHER genres, then if you find any stash of audio samples, go through ALL 50 - 340+ songs to find the ones that are actually the style that you're looking for, then after this you can move on to exploring how and where to purchase or obtain them! (I sure do miss the days of just going to the store or somewhere, looking for bass and freestyle, and FINDING bass and freestyle!) Try typing in modern / modernized / new freestyle, modern booty bass...urban dance.. etc. and see what happens. Not exactly what I'm looking for... I must search for it because it's not like I can find any dj's on the net who spin today's sound and mix it up with house either. I've only been successful at finding ALL house, ALL electro hip hop and house, OR All top 40 with SOME modern Jay Sean & Akon & Flo Rida style freestyle bass (that I've already heard numerous times) thrown in with other "crap" I don't necessarily care for. I'm not sure how this happened, but a whole sound has seemingly just "died" while currently making a strong resurgence and presence in the mainstream! It would be nice to be able to easily locate and find what I'm looking for (underground non radio stuff with the same style and sound) so I can at least mix it up myself.

(The HOUSE style is easy. It's everywhere. It's the (modern) electro bass and freestyle mixed with r&b sound with break (broken non house patterned) beats I'm looking for, and no, not the heavy deep European style breaks either.) If anyone could help in finding this type of sound I want, whether individual MODERN bass & freestyle tracks OR that sound in a dj mix WITH modern house, please let me know.
