WIKY EVANSVILLE - PART TIME JOB OPENING

I've had varying amounts of luck posting on boards like this one, but I thought I'd give it a try and see what happens.

WIKY, (www.wiky.com) Evansville's Hometown Radio Station for over 60 years needs a Weekend Warrior. As one of the only radio stations in America that is live every day all day 24/7/365 (that's right, hear a live up to date weather forecast every hour) we need a dependable weekend all night person. This can be a very stable gig (15-20 hours per week) for the right person. You must have at least some on air experience and know the music (AC/Classic Hits). We use Scott Systems SS32, so some experience with that or something similar is a bonus. I'll need to see a resume and listen to your airwork (MP3 file, 2 -3 minutes is plenty) before I can schedule an interview, but I will be interviewing starting this week. Questions - go ahead and call but I can't promise when I'll call you back (just being honest.)

How is Betty these days? Cyril doing well?

Betty is in her eighties and makes an occasional trip to the station to visit with the people she used to work with. Sorry, don't know who Cyril is..

Cyril Williams was Betty's boyfriend. Matt William's (Roseanne) uncle. All the shots of Evansville on the old Roseanne show were thanks to Matt.

Look for the old houses down below the hill and the Catholic church you can see from the hill.

Betty has to be more than 80. 50th class reunion (college) was in the early 90's. She and John Sr put the station on in 194? after he returned from WW2. (1945?) That was 63 years ago.

Betty was such a great lady. Her dad was super too.
