Wild 104.9HD???

What is going on with them? They play the same song over and over. They also stopped doing daily mixshows. I wish they would do something different.

Heh.. before it's over with I'm guessing they'll be doing something DIFFERENT after they're SOLD. In the mean time the fat man with the stinky cigars could care less.

If Power 103.5 had a better signal over the whole metro, there wouldn't even be a Wild 104.9. In my opinion, I think it should become Movin' 104.9, similar to Movin' 107.5 in Dallas.

I was checking out Wild's playlist on R&R's website and I noticed they're adding a few Pop titles in their playlist (i.e. Hinder-since they're from OKC, Gym Class Heroes, HelloGoodbye) then they have in the past. A few years ago they would stick in a Pop tune every now and then and still keep the station Rhythmic, but it sounds like they're heading more into a Pop/Mainstream direction to compete with KJ-103.

Maybe if the ratings don't go up in this next book they might be "Movin" to a different format.

oh brother not a Movin format although it fits 104.9 is Movin from Citadel hahaha

I can't believe that Power 103.5 is doing better thatn Wild 104.9 in the ratings. I wonder if Power will ever gain momentum and surge in the ratings.

You're right, my bad.

So why the flip? When I was there, I didn't notice any difference in signal. KVSP had the better signal and it isn't full market either.

Citadel has to sell 105.3 104.9 and 930 am. WWLS makes way more money then Wild does and 97.9 can upgrade to 98.1 although it has not been filed yet.

Citadel doesn't have to sell 930. It's only their second AM in OKC, and that's well below the number of acceptable AM's in Oklahoma City. You are correct, however, about 105.3 and 104.9. They could opt to sell some other FM's, but I doubt they will. They could also opt to include 930 in the package to sweeten the deal, but, once again, they don't have to under FCC rules.

Citadel should sell 104.9 to Perry and they should make it Power 104.9, providing better coverage over the metro and that station's core audience. Power 103.5 is a much better station than Wild 97.9/104.9 ever was anyways. Any chance this could happen?

I think that Citadel should sell 104.9 to Perry, but he should keep Power on 103.5 and make 104.9 either jazz or urban ac.
