Wild 94.9 En Espanol

Wutt up dance fans... like to say hey to CHRles, hows life been treatin you the past few years??

On to my post, im checking out Wild En Espanol and I must say that this is a very kool station... Reminds me of Power 96 in the late 90s to about 2001... I just heard everything from Master P - How Ya Do Dat to Lady by Modjo.. Nice mix of both Hip Hop, House, and Freestyle...

Dont you guys miss the days when most big market CHR / Rhythmics sounded this good?

My questions... Does Wild En Esponal do any mixshows? And second, do you guys think that clear channel and Wild 949 take these HD2 channels seriously? Big plans to put money and promotion into them?

> I can tell you a little about Wild Espanol. They dont have any mixshows, or Jocks or DJS or anything like that. I love the idea of bringing back the Classic rhythmic sound, where Hip Hop-Dance- and Latin stuff can live together on one station, but I think CC could do a little better Job of Bringing it back. I love the Format , and playlist, but the Library isnt big enough, and the same golds are looped over and over. If it were my only choice for Dance music on the dial, and I had just paid 1,000 for an HD radio, just for this station, I would be disappointed. However, I do beleive that CC will start to take these stations seriously, when they actually have more people listening to them, and knowing they exist. So, like I said, I like the format concept of Wild Espaniol, but I know that if they hired me to program it, or even anyone on this board, that would program this station for free, or nearly free, and actually care about the station enough to make it sound (ON FIRE)

Hmmm IS that so???? I havent listened in a while. I hope they keep it Dance, but its not the end of the world if they dont. At least San Francisco already has KNGY Energy 92.7, Available on all radios,,,,, But only in the Downtown San Francisco, Oakkand area,,, With a great deal of the signal Actually covering (WATER) the bay itself.
