WiLD 94.9 to become 94.9 KISS FM

Clear Channel annouced that WiLD 94.9 will flip from its rhythmic CHR format to a CHR/top 40 format. Its will flip to 94.9 KISS FM, starting off with 10,000 songs in a row. 98.1, which is also KISS FM, will also change its name to Hot 98.1, named after Hot 92.3 in LA. It is currently unknown if the jocks on the current WiLD will be on the new KISS.

Is this an April Fools joke. The thought of anyone in the Bay Area copying what's being done in LA doesn't make sense to me.
